План проведения интеллектуального шоу-кпнкурса между 4-а и 5 классами на английском языке под названием: “Take some medicine, SIR”.

Учитель – Хливецкая А.П.

Цель – Совершенствовать речевые навыки учащихся,создавая мероприятия ситуативное поле для общения по теме «Медицина». Учить воспринимать на слух английский текст в диалогической форме и воспроизводить услышанное. Развивать логическое мышление, память ,догадку, умение обобщать, анализировать. Развивать потребность в новых знаниях и применении их в реальной жизни. Учить работать в команде.

Оборудование- Компьютер и мультимедийная презентация, СД с записями минусовок, конверты с разрезанными словами , рабочий лист с загадкой на английском языке.

Ход мероприятия- Приветствие. Учитель объявляет цель и содержание мероприятия. Приблизительный текст:

Good morning, students! Today we understand that doctor, a clever doctor, is necessary for our country. It’s very good to have higher education and be an intelligent person .Now we see here what is your level of knowledge. So, tell me, please, what famous doctors do you know? (слайд 2)

Дети говорят о книжных персонажах: Доктор Пилюлькин, Доктор Айболит, доктор Ватсон, доктор Ливси, доктор Дулитл и т. д. На мониторе компьютера слайд с картинками названных врачей.

--It’s clear. But what kind of person should be a doctor?

--A doctor should be kind, clever, well-educated, patient, brave, must treat.

--now, let’s start our competitions. First game is very simple. I want to check your medical experience. Translate, please, the following phrases.

Презентация ( 3-5 слайды - перевод с русского на английский ) Учащимся следует быстро давать перевод появляющихся слов на русском языке.

Первая помощь, принимать лекарство, простудиться, быть больным, полное выздоровление, осматривать, больное горло, головная боль, насморк, чувствовать головокружение, растяжение, лечить, жаловаться, сыпь на теле, порезать палец.

Жюри оценивает услышанные ответы. Now we are going on.

I see, you know all these words, but now you put them into the dialogue and tell us. The other team should listen attentively and after name all diseases. Let’s start.

Жюри оценивает уровень владения языком, интонацию, произношение участников и выставляет баллы. Варианты 2 диалогов приводятся ниже,

DIALOGUE № 1. (слайд 6)

Doctor:-- Oh, what’s the matter with you? Your eyes are red, face flushed.

Patient:-- I didn’t sleep last night. I am off my food. I have colic. My eyes are weak. And, of course, I have a cold.

Doctor:-- How long have you had it?

Patient:-- I have been like this for 2 days.

Doctor:-- Are you taking any medicine?

Patient:-- No, I am not.

Doctor:-- Do you have health insurance?

Patient: -- No, I am not. Tell me, doctor, is it serious? Do I have to stay home from school?

Doctor: -- No! You must go to school and study hard. But I prescribe you some medicines and after you’ll recover!

Patient: -- Thank, you, doctor. Good by.

DIALOGUE № 2

Doctor -- What’s the matter with you, Mrs.Walker?

Patient -- You’d better ask me what is not the matter with me, doctor. I am suffering from all the illnesses: insomnia, headache, backache, indigestion, constipation and pains in the stomach. Besides, I have got a sore throat and I am sneezing and coughing .More, I had an accident and hurt my knee. Oh, doctor, I feel more dead than alive.

Doctor – I am sorry to hear it. But things are not so bad as you say. Let me examine you. Your heart, lungs are all right. Open your mouth and show me your tongue. It doesn’t seem to be wrong. Everything is O’K. But if you complain, I’ll advice you to stop worrying, take a long rest, have regular meals, salad and fruit. If you do this, I’ll promise you full recovery for a month.

Patient – And if I don’t, doctor?

Doctor – Then you’ll get to the hospital very fast. Do you want to be there?

Patient -- Oh, no, doctor!!!

Жюри оценивает каждую команду, называя полученный балл.

Now, I think, you have good result, but the most difficult situation will be later. Now, look at me. There are 2 envelopes which have the certain words. Your task is to make the sentence from these words, read it and tell – what disease can you say according to the symptoms. (слайд 7)

Итак, в 3 конкурсе учащиеся получают конверт с набором определённых слов,( предложение разрезано на слова ) собрав которые в правильном порядке, они получат симптомы определённой болезни. Её название и надо озвучить, а собрать предложение предлагается за 40 секунд. Вот предложенные варианты.

1. I have got red spots all over my body , the temperature and headache.( answer – Measles )

2. Now I have sore throat, cough and sneezing and I am always hot. ( answer – flu)

Жюри оценивает результаты.

Конкурс – 4. Now, students, look! Captain of every team, please, come to me. I give you this paper with a quiz. You and your team must give me the correct answer 1 minute later, Учащиеся получают лист с загадкой на английском языке и через минуту, посовещавшись с командой, дают свой вариант ответа.

Загадка № 1. According to Avicenna's opinion, every doctor has 3 instruments: they are knife, plants and….What is the third instrument? ( answer – WORD )

Загадка № 2. To get the fast recovery people in ancient Egypt affixed to their injuries the stale bread. What discovery will be after? ( Answer – antibiotic )

To affix – прикладывать the stale – чёрствый

Жюри объявляет баллы за проведенный конкурс.

Конкурс – 5. So, it's very important moment, because everybody will know your knowledge from the history of medicine. Итак, интеллектуальный конкурс из истории медицины. Учащиеся читают на слайде вопрос и из предложенных 3 вариантов ответов выбирают .( Слайд 8-11).

Ответы: 1 – the plant, 2 – shalfey, 3 – in 18 cent. W. Perkin 4 – Hippocratee 5 – in 1707, 6 – barber, 7 – cabbage, 8 – in Ancient Egypt BC.

Жюри оценивает услышанные ответы. Затем последний МУЗЫКАЛЬНЫЙ конкурс.(слайд 12) Конечно, это песни о медицине. Первая - под музыку гимна мушкетёров ( М. Дунаевский ) – Мерси боку.

Good by, good by my illnesses, Insomnia, good by! I took some pills and medicines And now I feel fine! Don’t come, don’t come all doctors My hospitable place. I reached the full recovery, I am the best! Oh, I’m crazy of my flu I stay in bed and only silent’s near. I have to drink a mixture green and blue, I wait a doc in white and very fair.

Вторая- тот же композитор, но частушки Бабок Ёжек из мультфильма “Летучий корабль”.

Medicine, your best equipment Who invented in the world I’m scared angry dentist And demand a clever doc! Doctor should be very nice: Have black hair and blue eyes, Patient and sincere Get on teeth machine. I decided to buy pills I looked for the chemistry’s But the seller’s absent Where is my medicine? I should trust I hate the prick, But the doctor has a stick. He must treat and cure. What’s the procedure!
