ЦЕЛЬ Формировать умения и навыки учащихся понимать английскую речь

МЕРОПРИЯТИЯ на слух, высказывать своё мнение на английском языке, переводить и воспроизводить услышанное, делая акцент на монологическом говорении учащихся.Развивать и поощрять желание ребёнка участвовать в иноязычном общении и самостоятельно совершенствоваться в процессе. Развивать познавательную активность, механизм языковой догадки, расширять кругозор, пополнять словарный запас, воспитывать любовь к литературе, чтению.

ОБОРУДОВАНИЕ: Мультимедийная презентация, компьютер, раздаточные листы для задания №4, конверты с лексическими единицами по теме, грамоты, аудиозапись с фонограммой к песне «Ничего на свете лучше нету».

ХОД МЕРОПРИЯТИЯ - Приветствие. Обращение ко всем участникам.

Dear students! Today everybody understands that books play the great role in our life. And here my first question for you: What does book give for children?

And second one: Why do people read books? (презентация слайд 2)

Предполагаемые ответы учащихся: ‘Books broaden my outlook’

‘Books can help me to be better.’ ‘Books give me the necessary knowledge’. ‘I will become more clever with books’

O’K. That’s very good. I see we can start our competitions. And now let’s try to check- could you recognize your favourite characters ? Here the first famous hero. ( презентация, слайд3 ). Учащиеся читают описание персонажа на английском языке и отгадывают имя, а ещё лучше и автора произведения.

• This hero has a lot of friends, he is very kind and likes eating a lot of honey. (слайд 4)
• This hero likes to put on the bright red hat .( слайд 5 )
• This hero is lazy and silly, but wants to become a clever boy.
• This hero likes to be between ice and cold. She nothing knows about love, friendship.
• This hero likes sailing with his friends on the boat, fighting with mobsters. (слайд 6)
• This hero works hard from morning till night and dreams to dance with Prince.
• This hero likes adventures and tell us unbelievable stories of his travelling. (слайд 7)
• This hero is poor, but he has the magic lamp and a carpet which can fly.
• This hero hasn’t parents and his family was wild animals in jungle.(слайд 8 )
• This hero is a man, not tall, but he likes eating jam very much and can fly.

. КОНКУРС-II.

Let’s speak about your favorite book.

Учащиеся от каждой команды рассказывают подготовленный материал. (тема: моя любимая книга) Требования- учащийся делится своей информацией, не подглядывая в шпаргалку, говорит чётко, бегло, правильно выговаривая слова на английском языке .После чего жюри подводит итоги. Пример:

My favorite book is R.Kipling ‘Jungle book’. I like this book because the main character is very patient and persistent. His name is Mowgli. He has not mother and father. He lives with wild wolves and try to be strong. He has an enemy. It is the great tiger Sherhan which wants to kill Mowgli. But little boy is very brave. He can speak with many animals and understands them. Mowgli has a lot of friends – the python, the bear and puma. They help him to be a real person.

КОНКУРС- III. It's very difficult competitions. From history of books. You should give me correct answer, only one ! Be attentive.

КОНКУРС -- 4 Участникам предлагается 2 колонки: в одной они найдут имена авторов, в другой написанные ими произведения. Задача – правильно сочетать писателя и его книгу. Данная информация – на слайде №11 и на раздаточных листах участников.

Конкурс № 5 На столе 2 конверта для 2 команд. В каждом – слова по разным темам. Отобрать нужно только те, которые относятся к теме “Books and writers.” За 30 секунд.
