План проведения интеллектуального шоу-кпнкурса между 4-а и 5 классами на английском языке под названием: “Take some medicine, SIR”.

Цель – Совершенствовать речевые навыки учащихся,создавая мероприятия ситуативное поле для общения по теме «Медицина». Учить воспринимать на слух английский текст в диалогической форме и воспроизводить услышанное. Развивать логическое мышление, память ,догадку, умение обобщать, анализировать. Развивать потребность в новых знаниях и применении их в реальной жизни. Учить работать в команде.

Оборудование- Компьютер и мультимедийная презентация, СД с записями минусовок, конверты с разрезанными словами , рабочий лист с загадкой на английском языке.

Ход мероприятия- Приветствие. Учитель объявляет цель и содержание мероприятия. Приблизительный текст:

Good morning, students! Today we understand that doctor, a clever doctor, is necessary for our country. It’s very good to have higher education and be an intelligent person .Now we see here what is your level of knowledge. So, tell me, please, what famous doctors do you know? (слайд 2)

Дети говорят о книжных персонажах: Доктор Пилюлькин, Доктор Айболит, доктор Ватсон, доктор Ливси, доктор Дулитл и т. д. На мониторе компьютера слайд с картинками названных врачей.

--It’s clear. But what kind of person should be a doctor?

--A doctor should be kind, clever, well-educated, patient, brave, must treat.

--now, let’s start our competitions. First game is very simple. I want to check your medical experience. Translate, please, the following phrases.

Презентация ( 3-5 слайды - перевод с русского на английский ) Учащимся следует быстро давать перевод появляющихся слов на русском языке.

Первая помощь, принимать лекарство, простудиться, быть больным, полное выздоровление, осматривать, больное горло, головная боль, насморк, чувствовать головокружение, растяжение, лечить, жаловаться, сыпь на теле, порезать палец.

Жюри оценивает услышанные ответы. Now we are going on.

I see, you know all these words, but now you put them into the dialogue and tell us. The other team should listen attentively and after name all diseases. Let’s start.

Жюри оценивает уровень владения языком, интонацию, произношение участников и выставляет баллы. Варианты 2 диалогов приводятся ниже,

DIALOGUE № 1. (слайд 6)

Doctor:-- Oh, what’s the matter with you? Your eyes are red, face flushed.

Patient:-- I didn’t sleep last night. I am off my food. I have colic. My eyes are weak. And, of course, I have a cold.

Doctor:-- How long have you had it?

Patient:-- I have been like this for 2 days.

Doctor:-- Are you taking any medicine?

Patient:-- No, I am not.

Doctor:-- Do you have health insurance?

Patient: -- No, I am not. Tell me, doctor, is it serious? Do I have to stay home from school?

Doctor: -- No! You must go to school and study hard. But I prescribe you some medicines and after you’ll recover!

Patient: -- Thank, you, doctor. Good by.

DIALOGUE № 2

Doctor -- What’s the matter with you, Mrs.Walker?

Patient -- You’d better ask me what is not the matter with me, doctor. I am suffering from all the illnesses: insomnia, headache, backache, indigestion, constipation and pains in the stomach. Besides, I have got a sore throat and I am sneezing and coughing .More, I had an accident and hurt my knee. Oh, doctor, I feel more dead than alive.

Doctor – I am sorry to hear it. But things are not so bad as you say. Let me examine you. Your heart, lungs are all right. Open your mouth and show me your tongue. It doesn’t seem to be wrong. Everything is O’K. But if you complain, I’ll advice you to stop worrying, take a long rest, have regular meals, salad and fruit. If you do this, I’ll promise you full recovery for a month.

Patient – And if I don’t, doctor?

Doctor – Then you’ll get to the hospital very fast. Do you want to be there?

Patient -- Oh, no, doctor!!!

Жюри оценивает каждую команду, называя полученный балл.

Now, I think, you have good result, but the most difficult situation will be later. Now, look at me. There are 2 envelopes which have the certain words. Your task is to make the sentence from these words, read it and tell – what disease can you say according to the symptoms. (слайд 7)

Итак, в 3 конкурсе учащиеся получают конверт с набором определённых слов,( предложение разрезано на слова ) собрав которые в правильном порядке, они получат симптомы определённой болезни. Её название и надо озвучить, а собрать предложение предлагается за 40 секунд. Вот предложенные варианты.

1. I have got red spots all over my body , the temperature and headache.( answer – Measles )

2. Now I have sore throat, cough and sneezing and I am always hot. ( answer – flu)

Жюри оценивает результаты.

Конкурс – 4. Now, students, look! Captain of every team, please, come to me. I give you this paper with a quiz. You and your team must give me the correct answer 1 minute later, Учащиеся получают лист с загадкой на английском языке и через минуту, посовещавшись с командой, дают свой вариант ответа.

Загадка № 1. According to Avicenna's opinion, every doctor has 3 instruments: they are knife, plants and….What is the third instrument? ( answer – WORD )

Загадка № 2. To get the fast recovery people in ancient Egypt affixed to their injuries the stale bread. What discovery will be after? ( Answer – antibiotic )

To affix – прикладывать the stale – чёрствый

Жюри объявляет баллы за проведенный конкурс.

Конкурс – 5. So, it's very important moment, because everybody will know your knowledge from the history of medicine. Итак, интеллектуальный конкурс из истории медицины. Учащиеся читают на слайде вопрос и из предложенных 3 вариантов ответов выбирают .( Слайд 8-11).

Ответы: 1 – the plant, 2 – shalfey, 3 – in 18 cent. W. Perkin 4 – Hippocratee 5 – in 1707, 6 – barber, 7 – cabbage, 8 – in Ancient Egypt BC.

Жюри оценивает услышанные ответы. Затем последний МУЗЫКАЛЬНЫЙ конкурс.(слайд 12) Конечно, это песни о медицине. Первая - под музыку гимна мушкетёров ( М. Дунаевский ) – Мерси боку.

Doctor should be very nice: Have black hair and blue eyes, Patient and sincere Get on teeth machine. I decided to buy pills I looked for the chemistry’s But the seller’s absent Where is my medicine? I should trust I hate the prick, But the doctor has a stick. He must treat and cure. What’s the procedure!

ЦЕЛЬ Формировать умения и навыки учащихся понимать английскую речь

МЕРОПРИЯТИЯ на слух, высказывать своё мнение на английском языке, переводить и воспроизводить услышанное, делая акцент на монологическом говорении учащихся.Развивать и поощрять желание ребёнка участвовать в иноязычном общении и самостоятельно совершенствоваться в процессе. Развивать познавательную активность, механизм языковой догадки, расширять кругозор, пополнять словарный запас, воспитывать любовь к литературе, чтению.

ОБОРУДОВАНИЕ: Мультимедийная презентация, компьютер, раздаточные листы для задания №4, конверты с лексическими единицами по теме, грамоты, аудиозапись с фонограммой к песне «Ничего на свете лучше нету».

Dear students! Today everybody understands that books play the great role in our life. And here my first question for you: What does book give for children?

Учащиеся от каждой команды рассказывают подготовленный материал. (тема: моя любимая книга) Требования- учащийся делится своей информацией, не подглядывая в шпаргалку, говорит чётко, бегло, правильно выговаривая слова на английском языке .После чего жюри подводит итоги. Пример:

My favorite book is R.Kipling ‘Jungle book’. I like this book because the main character is very patient and persistent. His name is Mowgli. He has not mother and father. He lives with wild wolves and try to be strong. He has an enemy. It is the great tiger Sherhan which wants to kill Mowgli. But little boy is very brave. He can speak with many animals and understands them. Mowgli has a lot of friends – the python, the bear and puma. They help him to be a real person.

“Why do we like detective stories”

Задачи урока: Активизировать употребление лексики по теме. Формировать навыки аудирования, умение находить необходимую информацию в прослушанном материале. Совершенствовать навыки монологического и диалогического говорения, развивать речевую догадку, критическое мышление. Развивать творческие и аналитические способности, умение интегрировать ранее полученные знания и вновь приобретённые.

Оборудование: компьютер с презентацией к уроку, кассета со звуковым файлом, магнитофон, видеоклип с песней, раздаточные карточки.

Ход урока:

1. Организационный момент. Приветствие.

2. Речевая разминка. (Учащиеся называют книги и жанр. Например, один говорит “Cinderella”, другой “Fairy tales”, “Kventin Dorvard” historical novel and etc.)

Что даёт человеку чтение книг и какие книги мы выбираем. ( презентация слайд – 2)

3. Проверка домашнего задания (составление рассказа об известном детективе – На выбор о Шерлоке Холмсе, Ниро Вульфе, Пуаро, Эрасте Фандорине) Предусмотрены вопросы учащихся к докладчикам. ( презентация – слайд 3, 5) На слайде слова и выражения активной лексики, которая должна обязательно употребиться в ученических рассказах.

Detective Poirot

My favorite character is Poirot of A. Christie. I like him because he always can find the correct decision in complicated case. Besides he can notice an incorrigible criminal in a crowd and be sure – if there is the criminal, it will be the crime.

Now I am speaking about famous book “Evil under the sun”. The plot of the novel is very complicated and keeps me in suspense during the whole book. Poirot investigated the woman’s murder. He keeps all details of the tragedy in his mind, analyzed them, made conclusions and pointed the killer. It’s great! I admire his perfect work of logic and unordinary mind. 

REX STOUT

As for me I can’t get along without reading books, particular I mean the famous American writer Rex Stout and his Nero Wolfe, who is unusual detective . He hates women, likes drinking beer, eating tasty things and takes care of flowers. He has assistant, Archie Goodwin. Nero never leaves home and his assistant does all his instructions. Best of all I like the novel “Final deduction” where criminals demanded big ransom for the life of one rich man. And everybody who tries to help was killed immediately. At last Wolfe found the person, who organized the whole chain of crimes. Woman was guilty there, she wanted to have huge money.

Erast Petrovich Fandorin is the brightest representative of Russian well-educated class of the 19 century. He doesn’t look like other detectives. He is noble, unbribable with perfect manners. He knows 10 foreign languages including English and Japanese. He liked spending his spare time in casino, playing cards or other games and won very often. His first wife, as we know, was killed in the first wedding day by the bomb explosion at home. After Fandorin was shocked and his hair became grey. And he decided to leave this country and went fighting as a soldier in the war with Turkish.

4. Аудирование. Перед прослушиванием текста учитель знакомит с новыми словами, которые могут создать трудность при переводе. Учащиеся записывают слова в словари. Затем получают карточки. ( презентация слайд – 6)

Получив раздаточные карточки учащиеся должны сочетать мнение говорящего о книге с прилагательным, указывающим на впечатление от неё. По ходу учитель задаёт наводящие вопросы учащимся с целью выяснения уровня понимания услышанного. Причём один вариант в карточке заведомо вписан лишний.

“Why do we like detective stories”

Speaker-1. (male) At long last I held it in my hands. A new spy thriller written by my favorite author. I couldn’t wait to settle into my armchair and begin to read. The advertisements claimed that this book was the spy thriller of the year. Settled at last, I eagerly opened the front cover. Two hours later I had put it down. I was in despair. I had read 6 chapters, but I couldn’t understand any of it.

Speaker-2 (female) I don’t usually enjoy the books that my grandfather sends me for Christmas and birthday presents. But this one was different. It made me cry. The book was set in France during the First World War. The hero was a little girl. Her name was Claudine and she was seven years old. One day her dog Blackie ran away and she decided that she had to find him. The whole story is about her various adventures. Some were funny, some were sad. I was really happy when, in the last chapter, she found him.

Speaker-3 (male) Never in my life have I read a book like this. I think the author must have written it in 5 minutes. I bought it in the airport book shop, as the novel I had intended to read during my holiday flight had been packed at the bottom of my suitcase by mistake. When I realize my error it was too late as I had already checked in my luggage. The book was about Dracula coming back to life. It was supposed to be a scary horror story. In fact it was so dull, I fell asleep while I was reading it.

Speaker 4 (female) The book itself was beautifully produced. It was a hard back volume. It had a dark blue cover, with Karina Kay embossed on it in large gold letters and, underneath in smaller gold letters, A Hero’s True Story. I gladly paid £35 to buy the book, as I am Karina’s sister. When I read it, I couldn’t understand how anyone had the nerve to write so many lies. I am going to write to the publisher to complain, and as for the author, if I ever meet him you can guess what I’ll say to him.

Speaker-5 (male) My favorite book is part of a trilogy. The third part has not yet been published. The main character is an alien called Fuzz. He is now living on Earth because his spaceship has broken down and needs repairing. The adventures that he has while looking for the strangest of spare parts are amazing. Imagine, what I felt like today when I saw the author on a television program talking about the publication of part three in two days’ time.

5. Минутка физкультуры. (под мелодию «Obladi, oblada» группы “The Beatles”) слайд7

6. Блиц – опрос. Что ты знаешь о героях и их авторах? ( слайд 8 )

Ответы на вопросы блица. 1. He was a doctor, surgery.

2. Nero didn’t like the crying women, to leave his home and to be involving into politics. )

3. She hadn’t got any education, she learned to read and write herself.

4. The President Rusvelt was Stout’s friend.

5. He changed 30 professions.

6. According Watson’s opinion, Holmes’s knowledge in literature was miserable, on chemistry was deep, on criminal chronics was perfect.

7. Рефлексия. Подведение итогов. Почему из разнообразия литературных жанров мы всё же отдаём предпочтение детективу.

8. Выставление оценок и аргументирование полученного балла.

Хід уроку:

1. Організаційний момент. Вітання.

Good morning, students!

I am glad to see you. Today we are speaking about your mood, feelings and emotions. Look at the desks – you see some pictures with smiles. At first let’s name them –

It’s sad. It’s angry. It’s offended. It’s glad. It’s happy.

Next, please, show me your emotions and feelings at our lesson. ( Учні показують картки, вчитель коментує деякі з них ) Це дуже добре, що з гарним настроєм ми починаємо працювати, це дуже важливо. Наприкінці уроку ми обов’язково повторимо це завдання, щоб зрозуміти – покращився настрій чи навпаки.

Далі вчитель відкриває частину дошки, на якій написані слова: Clap, glad, map, snack, mad, bag, rat, sad.

2. Фонетична зарядка з літерою «А» та звуком [æ]. Учні повторюють слова, вчитель слідкує за чіткою вимовою.

3. Перевірка домашнього завдання.

Students, you should write and learn by heart the little story about your favorite hero . Please, show me the pictures of your heroes. Thanks. Let’s start to check the hometask .

Example: Look at the picture. This is a girl Snow white. She is slim. She is pretty and clever. Snow white likes animals, she is so kind. She has got many friends.

I am glad(вчитель показує відповідний смайлик) that you worked so hard at home. Зараз спробуємо закріпити знання у такій вправі.

Look at the blackboard!

Перед учнями 6 карток та надпис «I have got». Уявіть, що зараз ви маєте морозиво та скажіть про свої почуття. Учні: I have got an ice-cream. I am happy. або I haven’t got a bike. I am sad. або I can play hopscotch . I am glad. Або I have not got pencils and can’t draw. I am angry. Кожен має скласти власний приклад.

So, it’s well done. Now we have an other task. Look at card number 1.

CARD 1

Match the pictures and the words. Write.

Please, write every picture with words below. ( 1,5 -2 хвилини) А зараз перевіримо, як ви впорались. Вчитель: Give me an answer. Picture number 1 – учні glad , picture 2 –учні sad, picture 3 учні – happy, picture 4учні – angry, picture 5 учні– bad, and picture 6 учні– beautiful.

Отже, це були тільки слова, але зараз ми спробуємо скласти з них речення і навіть невеличку розповідь. А допоможе нам в цьому презентація. Але перед тим, як працювати далі, треба трохи розвантажитись. Фізкультхвилинка.

Відповіді учнів: She can see flowers. She is happy.

She can’t see mum. She is sad.

Слайд 5. The last one She is very bad, you see, she is a queen. Do you like her? Відповіді учнів.

А зараз, коли ми вже визначились не тільки із словами, а й з реченнями та проговорили їх, саме час послухати вас, мої дорогі учні. В мене в руці 4 ролі з казки «Білосніжка». І я запрошую тих, хто допоможе озвучити автора, королеву, дзеркальце та мисливця. Всі інші також будуть працювати. І ось як. Коли ви почуєте гарні слова про героя такі як треба підняти добрий смайлик та кричати «ААА», а коли протилежні – сумний смайлик та почується «УУУУ». Запам’ятали? Перший ряд змагається з другим. Отже, почнемо.

The play “Snow white”

Автор: Many years ago the beautiful Princess lived. Her name is Snow white. She is so kind and pretty (А-а а а Позитивный смайлик ). And an angry ( У –у-у-у сумний смайлик )Queen lived too. She is very bad. She is speaking. Let’s listen to her.

Королева: Tell me, Mirror, tell me Mirror, am I beautiful here?

Зеркало : Yes, you are. But the Princess Snow white is more beautiful(ААА позитивний смайлик).

Автор : The Queen is angry.( ууу сумний смайлик ) She asks a hunter.

Королева: You go to the forest with Snow white. You kill her.

Охотник : No, I can not. She is so nice!

Автор: But a hunter is very kind.(ААА позитив. смайлик) He can’t kill Snow white. And she is glad (ААА позитив. смайлик)to see her friends – seven short men.

Вчитель: Дуже дякую, молодці. А зараз підведемо підсумки нашої роботи. Що нового ми дізнались на сьогоднішньому уроці?

Учень 1 – Я зміг зрозуміти, що казала королева. А ще я можу сказатися, яка вона.

Учень 2.- Мені сподобалась робота на картках, я зміг швидко їх підписати та презентація. Білосніжка красива, розумна, добра і я можу це сказати англійською.

Щож, дуже приємно, що все гаразд. Тому покажіть, будь ласка, ваш настрій через картки. Дякую. І, завершуючи нашу зустріч, оголошую оцінки та домашнє завдання.
